Program Coordinator

Delta Center has an opening for a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing aspects of the Consumer Directed Services Program for people with disabilities and team personnel under the direction of the Director of Services. This supervisory position will be held in conjunction with case management duties and a slightly reduced caseload. Duties include but are not limited to: • Implement policies and procedures and monitor staff to ensure that the following occurs: services are provided according to policies and procedures and Independent Living philosophy; clear, concise and accurate records are maintained in consumer database; accurate records kept of community contacts. • Train and supervise staff ensuring that consumers receive comprehensive, compassionate and timely services. • Coach ILS’s on best practice in providing, and documenting, IL services. • Ensure that staff function as effective advocates and meet performance objectives by providing feedback to staff regarding job performance, including yearly performance evaluations. • Manage CDS team schedule, including time off requests, to ensure Delta Center meets its commitment to ensuring an ILS is available to respond to inquiries. • Coordinate and facilitate CDS team meetings to ensure consistent, clear communication about resources, issues, consumers, policies and procedures and promote teamwork. • In addition to above duties, CDS Coordinator will maintain a partial caseload Qualified applicants will meet the following criteria: • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years full-time relevant paid job experience • Working knowledge of DHSS Consumer Directed Services Program preferred • Proven leadership/mentoring experience • Previous supervisory experience preferred • Familiarity with Microsoft applications and internet based research • Ability to manage interruptions and multiple priorities • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by phone and in person • Transportation with 48 hours notice All interested parties should e-mail resume to info@dcil.org.
