Early Childhood Educator

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS NEEDED If you love children, Youth In Need is looking for you! We are seeking a non-degreed Early Childhood Teacher, Assistant Teachers, a Support Teacher, and Substitute Teachers for our locations in Warrenton, MO. Teachers (non-degreed) teach and assist other teaching staff in maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for Early Head Start/Head Start eligible children ages birth through five. Teachers are required to get an infant/toddler CDA w/in a year from hire and must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and experience working with pre-school aged children. Starting pay for Teachers is $10.10/hr+ based on the currently held level of education and experience. Assistant Teachers teach and assist other teaching staff in maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for Head Start eligible children ages three through five. Qualified Assistant Teacher applicants will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and experience working with children ages 3-5. Assistant Teachers are required to get a Preschool CDA within two years of hire. Starting pay for Assistant Teacher is $9.81/hr+ based on experience. Support Teachers work with ages birth through three to teach and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for Early Head Start/Head Start eligible children. Qualified Support Teacher applicants will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and experience working with children ages 0-5. Starting pay for Support Teachers is $9.81/hr+ based on the currently held level of education and experience. We are also seeking non-degreed Substitute Teachers. Responsibilities include assisting in all classroom duties and supervising children birth through five while promoting parent involvement. Candidates for this position must be a minimum of 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Starting Substitute pay is $8/hr. Development Director

Innsbrook Institute Development Director Position (Part-Time) DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Under the direction of the Innsbrook Institute Managing Director with latitude for independent decisions, the Development Director will assist in the identification and facilitation of all development and fundraising activities for the Institute. This position is also responsible for recruitment and tracking of volunteers for the Institute, as well as cultivating strong relationships with the community. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for planning, promoting, implementing and follow-up of all development and fundraising activities for the organization. • Responsible for recruiting and tracking of all volunteers for the Institute. • Other duties as determined in collaboration with the Managing Director. SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS DEVELOPMENT • Assist in identifying and implementing new strategies to grow community support. • Working with the Managing Director in developing an annual fundraising plan and strategy. • Assist in development, cultivation and implementation of the major gifts program. • In cooperation with Managing Director, coordinate grant writing activities for the organization. SPECIAL EVENTS Responsible for assisting with special events for the Institute including, but not limited to, the fall fundraiser and the Summer Music Academy and Festival. VOLUNTEERS Responsible for recruiting and tracking of all volunteers. • Organizes, coordinates and manages the recruitment and engagement of volunteers for Summer Music Academy and Festival, fundraisers, and other volunteer opportunities as needed. • Will work with corporate, civic and other local organizations to develop partnerships, where appropriate, to develop and/or utilize volunteers. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree required or at least three years’ experience in fundraising and event planning. • Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in use of computers and other office equipment including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Must be flexible with ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks. Office Manager

Innsbrook Institute Office Manager (Part-Time) DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Innsbrook Institute Managing Director with latitude for independent decisions. This position provides the day-to-day office management for the organization through general office functions, accounting and bookkeeping, clerical duties for the Academy and Festival and support for fundraising events as needed. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Answer phone, inquiries and general customer service either in person, via phone or email. 2. Board Meetings- solicit agenda items and compile board meeting agenda. Attend board meetings and take minutes. Submit board minutes to Managing Director for approval and distribution. 3. Serve as liaison between Academy students and parents and the Institute. 4. Other duties as assigned. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTING AND BOOKKEEPING 1. Enter all donations and purchases in QuickBooks and send necessary acknowledgement letters. 2. Accounts payable- process all invoices for payment. Create and send contracts to all musicians. Process all checks for payment. 3. Process and submit timely deposits through QuickBooks and perform monthly bank statement reconciliations. 4. Process payments through Authorize.net and assure proper recording in QuickBooks. Assure that all accounting systems are in place to correctly record and acknowledge receipts. 5. Accounts receivable- create and submit billing in a timely manner and follow up to assure payments are received. 6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax information and forms for all contractors. 7. Submit invoices for Academy students, track scholarships for each student and properly track and record all tuition payments. ACADEMY AND FESTIVAL 1. Track all student applications, acceptance letters, scholarship and tuition information. Assure that all necessary student forms are completed and filed for reference as needed. 2. Compile student biographical information and photographs for inclusion in the program. 3. Contact and confirm host families for students for the Academy. Assign students to host families and serve as liaison between students and host families for the duration of the Academy. 4. Attend host family meeting and outline roles and responsibilities. 5. Schedule transportation for students from/to the airport and assist with transportation scheduling throughout the Academy as needed. 6. Box Office for the Festival- assist with selling tickets, merchandise sales and coordination of volunteers working at the box office. 7. Assist with additional fundraising events, concerts and events as needed. FUNDRAISING 1. Assist with the receipt, recording and acknowledgement of all ticket sales for the fundraising events and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed. 2. On event days, participate where needed, including registration and cashier, answering questions, gathering tickets and tracking winning bids for payment. 3. Assist with fundraisers as requested. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Strong accounting and financial recordkeeping background. Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting system mandatory. 2. 3-5 years experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable, with nonprofit experience a plus. 3. Outstanding customer service, organizational and verbal and written skills essential. 4. Associates degree in accounting.
