Description:
Delta Center for Independent Living currently has an opening for a full-time Program Director. Qualified individuals must meet the following criteria:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years full-time relevant paid job experience (minimum of 1 year working with people with disabilities)
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience with program development
• Proven familiarity with Microsoft Word
• Type 35 wpm
• Effective public speaker
• Able to manage interruptions and multiple priorities
• Excellent telephone demeanor and ability to communicate
• Transportation to consumers’ homes and outreach locations with 24 hours notice
Program Director is responsible for the administration of all aspects of program that allows adults with physical disabilities to hire, train and supervise their personal care attendants and development of attendant services for children & youth with significant disabilities.
Delta Center offers paid sick days, holidays, vacation days and medical stipend. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
