Typical work week is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. Responsibilities include assisting persons with disabilities in accessing consumer-directed services including but not limited to: personal attendant services, peer support, advocacy, information and referral, adaptive equipment, transportation and skills training for independent living.
Qualified individual must have:
· 60 college credit hours with 2 years full-time relevant paid job experience ($13.20hr) OR Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of full-time relevant paid job experience ($13.70/hr)
· Familiarity with Microsoft Word and ability to type 35 wpm
· Ability to manage interruptions and multiple priorities
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by phone and in person
· Transportation to consumer’s homes and ability to enter non-handicap accessible homes
