When Bent Oak Mutual was first organized in 1875, it was named The Private Benevolent Association #2 of Warren County. Since its inception, the mutual company has seen name changes and mergers; most recently known as Farmers Mutual Insurance Company of Warren County for over 50 years. What started as a group of farmers who understood the importance of banding together to provide financial security and property protection for each other, has withstood the test of time and now spans the entire state of Missouri.
